I had a rough time with Open Air Cambridge while shopping online. They completely ignored my emails about the Nordic Poles I bought back in late November 2021. This was meant to be a Christmas gift for my wife, and when the holiday rolled around, I discovered that the Leki straps were too big. So, I shot off an email asking if I could swap them for a smaller size.

I sent two more emails in January 2022 before I finally got a reply, which just said they were swamped and hadn’t seen my earlier messages. I responded to that email, attaching copies of my previous correspondence, but still no word back.

Had I known the customer service would be this bad, I would’ve returned the Nordic Poles right away. I’d recommend folks steer clear of their online ordering unless you can pop into their Cambridge store.

Attempted to reach out to customer support. The hours for phone calls are from 10 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon, but it just keeps ringing and then you get disconnected. When I tried emailing, the reply took over 48 hours and still didn’t fix anything. Honestly, I wanted to give them no stars at all. Customer service seems to mean nothing to this business. They’d rather just cancel your order and leave you hanging for a refund instead of actually helping you out. I won’t be shopping with them again.

the shoes showed up just like they said, nicely packed and right on schedule. I messed up the size a bit, so I had to return them, but the return process was super easy. I'll definitely be shopping again when the right size is available.
